The coil stays wet for months in Florida humidity. UV-C keeps it clean, so the system maintains airflow and efficiency, and the air passing through it is not picking up living contaminants. We size the lamp length and placement to the air handler, not just clip a generic bulb on the cabinet.
Bulbs lose output over time, so we set a replacement schedule and mark the install date. We also check the lamp during annual maintenance so it keeps working the way it should.
